The manager, Liam, went out of his way to accommodate my daughter’s ice cream request with chocolate swirls, strawberries and marshmallows!! He handled a busy restaurant with minimal staff in a calm, efficient and professional manner.

Lovely service and friendly welcoming hospitality. Food was delicious, this was my first visit and I’d definitely be back. The lemon dessert was absolutely beautiful, nice and refreshing and not too sweet. Very sad to hear they are closing in March. Will be a loss for Ashby for sure, all the best to the staff after they close.

Finally got to eat some delicious food that was nut free! Thank you and really recommend for allergens!

On the positive side, our server was professional and friendly, However, the food and overall experience were disappointing for a few reasons - For Main : I ordered the prawn pasta, but it was dry and it lacked sauce. Inventory Issues: When we tried to order the Tiramisu, we were told they were out. Coffee: We then tried to order the coffee and dessert combo, only for the staff to return and inform us they had run out of milk. It was frustrating to be unable to order basic menu items or even a coffee at the end of a meal. While the staff were great, the kitchen’s lack of preparation and inventory management made for a letdown of an evening. I’ve given 2 stars for food because we couldn't actually get the items we wanted.
